Digital Scrapbook Pages

I have loved scrapbooking since it became a hobby. I just don't have the time I want anymore to sit down and get all my stuff out and create projects the way I used to. (I blame the three year old for that!) But I LOVE being able to spend the few minutes each night that my husband gives my son a bath making a page or two with My Digital Studio. Here are the latest pages I sent to have printed. So when they arrive, I'll put them in a book and feel like I've scrapbooked!

Magnetic Bookmarks

  So my husband asked if I could help him make a bookmark that he could use in a magazine. He wanted it to be magnetic so that it wouldn't slide out of his page. So we made these two bookmarks last night. The magnets are hidden inside the layers of paper. It's a cute quick craft. I think it might become a new "in a pinch" gift.

The adhesive magnets worked perfectly and are pretty hefty! I've used them for tons of different projects!

So lately I've been wanting to make 3D projects to decorate for the holidays (that and my husband said no more buying decorations) so for Valentine's day this is my second little project. I made it with chipboard and the Clear Scallop Square for the Big Shot. I embellished it with Love Letter Designer Series Paper and the stamp set Artistic Etchings. It turned out pretty cute!!

Can I just say that I am ADDICTED to these little Basic Rhinestone Accents! They are just so stinkin' cute!! I have to admit that I am just addicted to bling anyway (just check out my Irish Dance Costume if you have any doubts there) and these are so easy to use, they're adhesive so you don't have to mess with glue or anything. Order a pack, I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Be Mine Banner

 

I've been wanting to make a pennant banner for a while now and I just recently purchased the Bigz XL Pennant Die for the Big Shot. This was the result of experiment, I learned a few things and will have a better idea next time but meanwhile I like this cute little banner for Valentine's Day.

Holiday Gifts Class Coming Up in November!!

  In my mind it's never too early to start thinking about Christmas gifts. Each year I try (and about half the time succeed) to get my shopping done the first week of December. I can enjoy more holiday time relaxing and enjoying the holiday rather than in a frantic effort to get ready at the last minute.

So I'll be helping you get ready too, I'll be hosting a handmade Christmas tag and gift class early in November and feature the following projects (among others). Don't think you can come to the class? There will be kits available for you to purchase and assemble at home.
